Live Activity is your store's heartbeat—a place where you can see in real-time exactly what your customers are doing in your store: purchases, abandoned carts, the number of items added to the cart, and more. With this information at your fingertips, you can make actionable decisions about how to better engage with your customers and convert more of them into loyal shoppers.

Contact Information

This column displays the contact’s name, email address, and location if they are recognized by Amplified. If the visitor’s name is not captured, it will be displayed as No Name. You will also see the Source from where we obtained the information.

Cart

The Cart column displays all the items and quantities added to a contact's cart.

Total

In this column, you can see the total cost of all the items added to the contact's cart.

Last Update

This column shows the date and time that the contact was last updated. The time is determined by the timezone you specify in your store.

Status

The live activity page has four statuses:

  • Active

    This indicates that the contact is/has been on the site within the last 10 minutes.

  • Inactive

    This shows that there has been no activity detected on the site in the last 10 minutes.

  • Abandoned Cart

    This indicates that the contact has added an item to their cart, and then left the site without placing an order.

  • Order Placed

    Shows that a purchase has been completed.

  • How long does it take for the status to change to Abandoned?

We'll give the cart up to 10 minutes of inactivity before we consider it Abandoned. As soon as their status changes to Abandoned, they will enter your Abandoned Cart flow if it is enabled.

Can I export my Live Activity?

Yes, you can reach out to our customer support team in-app or by email to assist you with the export.

How can I collect more information?

We’ve made it easy for you to collect information from your website visitors with our built-in Lead Capture tool, Add-to-Cart Pop-Up. It allows you to collect the email address of anybody who adds an item to their cart.

Your contact data can also be automatically detected from any input field on your page using third-party data collection platforms such as Pop Convert, Wheelio, Privy, Optin Master, Storefront, WooHoo, and Pixelpop.
